Upcoming Surgery...
This is the surgery I feared having done the most as it is the most invasive. Everyday the pain changes and spawns in to other parts of my legs and waist. Like electric tendrails. I have my Social Security Interview on the 16th. Supposed to take 2 hours....

Albany-Stephen A. Strzesiewski, 88, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Stefan and Josephine Dasis Strzesiewski. He was a World War II US Army Veteran. He was a meat cutter for fifty years, retired from the UFCW Local 1. He also worked for many years at the Albany County Nursing Home. Stephen was a member of the Albany Elks, Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post 1520, and the Polish Community Center. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. He enjoyed family gatherings, OTB, and daily phone calls to Shirley Gambacorta. He was the husband of the late Eva Spass Strzesiewski; father of Stephen Strzesiewski, Catherine Engel (Paul), Christine Claire (Riyad Saleh) and the late Joseph Strzesiewski; brother of Thomas Strzesiewski, Helen Strzesiewski and the late Matthew Strzesiewski; survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday, May 8, 2011 at 10:00 am from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 10:30 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday, May 7, 2011 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. |
